Fleeing the ship engulfed in flames that was her home for sixteen years, Cilia found herself destitute and without a family on her birthday as she rowed to safety on a beat up little dinghy. Clutching a bloodied bag she ran off into the wilds once ashore, ignoring the crowd of concerned onlookers who sought to offer aid to this mutilated girl.Born into piracy it was the only life she knew and it served her well to carve a path into the slaving business, kidnapping and selling her victims on auctions or to private buyers. Throughout the years to come Cilia gained the reputation of a mad dog, succumbing into enraged frenzies at the drop of a hat which in turn saw her without any true companions to call friends. With alcohol and coin as her only confidant it wasn't unusual to see the highlander drunk, tankard in one hand and a clenched fist aimed at someone's head in the other. Those lonely days are now past Cilia as she's found a new purpose in life and dedicates her whole being into protecting it.Adapting a more cunning and calculated approach there's been a significant change from her violent demeanor from back in the day, though the rabid dog still lashes out from time to time when needed.

Cilia's fiancée and former slave. She brought a great change to the ruthless pirate and chose to remain by her side after being set free. They now share their lives together and even have twins, though this is a closely guarded secret.

With a complicated history behind them, Laharen and Lestro share an almost equally complex bond with Cilia. Whilst Laharen and her might not always see eye-to-eye she respects his brutality, a stark quality contrast to his timid partner Lestro.
Tikana
To say Tikana was a stubborn and uncompliant slave would be an understatement. But it's also this trait of hers that's earned the respect of Cilia and seen them through the highs and lows.Though she formally holds the status of slave under the highlander's rule she's a trusted confidant and a valued friend.

A late addition to the Unbranded's roster, Pheli now finds herself under the protection of the former slaving company. Social and friendly she's sure to make good company or an ally on the battlefield.Just don't ask her to cook.
Kiah Rue
Kiah considers herself a former slave free of her bondage from Cilia these days but the highlander is quick to correct the redhead's assumptions on the matter.The two share a toxic relationship that's lasted since their initial meeting that they both feed off of and while Cilia likes to state as much, Kiah is firmly in denial of this truth.
Yukina, Lucretia & Elayne
This trio of women all find themselves in the care of Cilia, having become fast friends during their time in the Unbranded.Despite her small stature, Yukina is a fierce warrior who can brawl with the strongest of them. While loyal to Cilia, the raen still finds herself struggling coming to terms with her new lot in life under her rule.Circumstances and misfortune saw Lucretia's mind nearly ruined past the point of no return, but with gentle guidance from Avrie and Elayne the proud elezen is slowly building up a new foundation from which to stand on.Born into nobility Elayne is one of the more high profile members of this group though she keeps her heritage hidden to the best of her ability. Petite of build she relies on potent magicks to compensate her lack of brawn.
Kyrilla Fray
Fray is a troubled mercenary woman who's been roped into the pirate's affairs, much to her chagrin. Though the coin doesn't go amiss.Money talks, Kyrilla states, but there's an umistakable sense of camaraderie between the two.
